Pay online by card
Our checkout is run by Sampath Bank PLC, with 3-D Secure. A direct booking is paid in full when you book: international guests pay in US dollars, Sri Lankan residents in rupees. The final checkout shows a secure online payment service — 4% for USD, 3% for LKR — before you continue to the bank.

Scan and pay with LANKAQR
LANKAQR is Sri Lanka's national QR code. Through it you can pay from Indian bank accounts with UPI, from Chinese wallets with Alipay+ and WeChat Pay, and from wallets across Asia and Europe.

Paying from a crypto wallet?
We can't take cryptocurrency directly — Sri Lanka's central bank does not allow it to be used for payments. But if your money lives in a crypto wallet, email us before you book and we'll help you find a way that works, for example a crypto-linked Visa or Mastercard, which our checkout takes like any other card.

Which cards can I pay with online?
Visa, Mastercard, American Express and UnionPay, through Sampath Bank's secure checkout with 3-D Secure. Diners Club and Discover are being added by our bank.
When do I pay, and is there a fee?
A direct booking is paid in full when you book, in US dollars or, for Sri Lankan residents, rupees. The final checkout shows a secure online payment service of 4% for USD payments or 3% for LKR payments before you continue to the bank.
Can I pay with UPI from India?
Yes — scan our LANKAQR code with your UPI app and pay from your Indian bank account. Our bank is switching UPI on now; if it doesn't go through, message us and we'll sort it.
Do you take Alipay or WeChat Pay?
Alipay+ and WeChat Pay are being switched on with our bank. If your wallet doesn't work yet, message us on WeChat or by email and we'll find a way.
Can I pay with Apple Pay or Google Pay?
Yes, at the hotel, on our card machine — along with any contactless card. Online checkout takes the card itself.
Can I pay in cryptocurrency?
Not directly — Sri Lanka's central bank does not allow cryptocurrency to be used for payments. If your money is in a crypto wallet, email us and we'll help you pay another way, for example with a crypto-linked Visa or Mastercard.
