Some trips are better with everyone in them. The hard part is the booking: three rooms here, two there, and nobody under the same roof. So here is a kinder way to do it. The entire house: 11 lake-view rooms, a pool, breakfast every morning and a team of 14 to look after you. That is about USD 64 a room, or about USD 32 a person when 22 share.

Two Paris hotel nights, or one whole villa
Look at the table. Two nights in one average four-star room in Paris cost USD 570–684. In London, USD 482–704. One night of the whole villa is USD 700, for every room in the house.
I want to be fair. A hotel room in London is not a lakeside villa, and this is the price of a night, not a verdict. But when a group splits a hotel bill in a big city, it is worth seeing what else the same money can be: your own house, your own pool and a long table where everyone eats together.
What the whole house is
Zen Koggala stands on the shore of Koggala Lake, on Sri Lanka’s south coast, five minutes from the beach and about two hours by road from Colombo airport. For these nights, nobody else is staying: the house is yours.
There are 11 rooms, each with its own bathroom, a balcony, a desk, air conditioning and a lake view. There is a pool of 35 by 20 feet with a built-in jacuzzi, and a baby pool. A team of 14 works there, including an executive chef and a kitchen crew. The whole property runs on a generator, the wifi is fibre with Starlink beside it, and there is parking for eight vehicles and a bus.
How the offer works
It is Zen’s flash sale, and the rules are short.
- Up to 53% off the villa’s normal season price: USD 700 a night for the whole house, with breakfast, taxes and service charge included.
- 3 nights or more. Any group size, even two guests.
- Pay in full when you book. Not refundable, and not combined with other discounts.
- Last day to book: 21 November 2026, Sri Lanka time. Check-in by 12 October 2027.
- Not for stays with a night between 20 December and 10 January.
- 22 guests are included, up to 30 by arrangement. Above 22 the night costs more: 10% for 23–25 guests, 20% for 26–30.

Can two or three of us book the whole villa?
Yes. During this sale the whole villa is open to any group size, even two guests, for 3 nights or more.
How many guests can stay?
22 guests are included and up to 30 by arrangement, with extra beds. A night with 23–25 guests adds 10%, and with 26–30 guests 20%.
Is this an Ocean Bliss offer?
No. Zen Koggala is a separate company with its own prices, terms and cancellation rules. You book it with Zen at zenbysugar.com, and its terms are the ones that count.
When must I book, and when can I stay?
The last day to book is 21 November 2026, and check-in must be by 12 October 2027. A stay with a night between 20 December and 10 January is not part of the sale.
